Kevin Syler, a Captain with the Arnold Air Force Base Police Department, first became David Crockett in 2007 during the festival exchange with the International Dogwood Festival from Winchester, TN. When the good people of Winchester made plans to visit Foley, they knew that there were 4 things that Tennessee is famous for: Country Music, Tennessee Walking Horses, Jack Daniels Whiskey, and Davy Crockett! Last year, he returned for the 10 year celebration and we are thrilled to welcome him back. See him on the lowerstage on Saturday as well as the entire weekend. Davy Crockett will be walking about the festival grounds sharing educational stories for kids, about how he came to Fort Mims, near Alexandria, Alabama, to fight the Creek Indians before going to Alamo to fight for Texas Independence from Mexico. |

Jim Andrews and John Brust make us this incredible duet. They have each played since their teenage years which lead them into successful careers as musicians. Music has taken both John and Jim all over the world to play with some of the most famous and talented entertainers of our time. It was not until both relocated to Gulf Shores that this power pair got together. They have been delighting The Gulf Coast ever since. |

Grayson Capps’ fifth studio album, The Lost Cause Minstrels, finds the Mobile, Alabama-based singer-songwriter coming of age. But that doesn’t mean his often unholy tales of the Southern Gothic have lost any of their sting. Quite the contrary, Capps’ Tao-tinged philosophical musings revealed inside songs shuddering with spit, stomp and snarl are as potent as ever. |

Bluegrass gospel is what you will hear when we present our unique brand of music. Most of us are members of the Gulf Shores United Methodist Church and we formed this group for the purpose of providing music to our fellow church members who were either disabled or homebound for some reason. We have received great response and have broadened our audiences by visits to nursing facilities and some civic events. |

An act that has been performing for many years, the trio began singing together by chance during a Coastal Chorale performance where they sang one of Alabama's great songs, "Christmas in Dixie". The performance thrilled the crowd and from that event a new and exciting vocal trio was formed. They have continued to be a hit playing at venues throughout the Alabama Gulf Coast area. |

Hailing from Lower Alabama, Fat Man Squeeze has been wowing audiences with super-picking speedgrass since early 2003. The quartet has the distinguished honor of winning the 2003 Atmore Fiddler's Convention "Best Instrumental Band" category, as well as taking first place in Dobro and third in guitar. The popularity of their live shows and crowd reception of the band's original music prompted the boys to record their first album January, 2004. |
